Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins missed last week’s game while dealing with a hamstring injury, and this Sunday isn’t looking good either.
Watkins will not practice today, the Chiefs announced. Today is the first day of game week preparations for Week 6.
The Chiefs play the Houston Texans Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
Sammy Watkins, Chris Jones, Andrew Wylie and Eric Fisher are among the Chiefs who won’t practice today.

Watkins has 23 receptions for 365 yards and three touchdowns on the season. Much of that production came in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Watkins went off for nine catches, 198 yards and three scores in that contest.
In good news for the Chiefs, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and wide receiver Tyreek Hill will practice today.
Mahomes has been bothered by an ankle issue, while Hill hasn’t played since Week 1 due to a sternoclavicular dislocation.
