The upcoming NFL free-agency and trade period is setting up to be one of the wildest in recent memory. Derek Carr could be one of the players on the move.
There’s no concrete evidence regarding the Raiders QB and a potential incoming trade. There is, however, traction starting to pick up regarding interest in Carr from teams around the NFL – primarily, the Chicago Bears. Could a trade be coming soon?
Carr posted a very interesting photo on Instagram on Thursday afternoon. The Raiders QB shared a picture of himself and former teammate Khalil Mack – who used to play for the Raiders, but now plays for the Bears. The picture has no caption.
Now, this could all mean absolutely nothing. But the timing is certainly interesting and it definitely doesn’t seem like just a coincidence. This certainly adds intrigue to the Carr-Bears potential trade scenario. Check out Carr’s latest Instagram post below:
The Bears need a better quarterback – and Carr would absolutely be an upgrade over Mitch Trubisky.
Raiders head coach Jon Gruden has also made it pretty clear Carr isn’t his long-term quarterback.
There’s still a few weeks until the NFL trade period begins. But a Carr trade is already starting to pick up traction.
