The Raiders and Chargers are prepared to face off in a pivotal AFC West Division battle on Thursday Night Football. Both teams are vying for an AFC wildcard spot.
Jon Gruden and the Raiders have received great injury news ahead of the game. According to a report, center Rodney Hudson and right tackle Trent Brown will play against the Chargers tonight.
Both players have dealt with various injuries leading up to tonight’s contest. Hudson missed the Raiders’ game this past Sunday with an ankle injury while Brown was limited in practice as he deals with a knee injury.
Turns out, Brown and Hudson have healed up just enough to be available for tonight’s pivotal contest.
Prior to the start of the season, there wasn’t much faith in the Raiders. The hiring of Gruden and Antonio Brown fiasco had folks worried about the trajectory of the team.
But Derek Carr and this Raiders’ squad is silencing any and all doubters. Thursday night’s game will be another chance to prove the team’s critics wrong.
The Raiders are 4-4 so far this season, good for second place in the AFC West and just two games behind Kansas City. The Chargers aren’t too far behind with a 4-5 record.
Raiders-Chargers kicks off at 8:20 p.m. ET and will air on FOX.
