Earlier this week, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown made headlines when he publicly asked for a trade. Brown took to Twitter with a short statement thanking Steelers fans: "Thank you SteelerNation for a big 9 years...time to move on and forward."

Brown's relationship with the Steelers has soured over the past few years and it appears the two are destined to go their separate ways. However, Brown's beef might not be with the Steelers as a whole.

His relationship with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger appears to be the major sticking point. Brown's most recent activity on Twitter shows just how unhappy he is with Big Ben.

Brown "liked" a post on Twitter mentioning Big Ben's past sexual assault allegation.

Here's the post in question.

Antonio Brown liked a post on Twitter.

The allegation stems from a 2010 incident when a 20-year-old female college student accused Roethlisberger of raping her in a club bathroom.

Perhaps Brown's issues with the Steelers are a result of the organization's support for the star quarterback over the years - despite allegations of misconduct.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported Brown plans to meet with Steelers owner Art Rooney II - though no time frame for a potential meeting was given.

The Steelers roster could look rather different in 2019 than it did last season.
