Antonio Brown's 2019 season hasn't gone as planned.

After the Pittsburgh Steelers shipped the star wide receiver to the Oakland Raiders, it looked like he was set for a fresh start. However, just a few months into his tenure with the Raiders, Brown's off-field antics led the organization to release him.

After a brief stint with the New England Patriots, Brown once again found himself without an NFL team.

However, in a recent interview, Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, revealed he expects the star wideout to return to the NFL this year.

Here's what he had to say via CNBC:

"I do expect Antonio to play again this season. Hopefully we will get the NFL investigation behind him in the near future and he can sign with a new team. I’ve said there is interest in him from teams that are looking for the investigation to conclude and I fully expect Antonio to be playing this season."

Late last week, former Dallas Cowboys great Michael Irvin suggested Jerry Jones should sign Brown. The Cowboys owner immediately shot down the rumors - giving Brown one less option on a potential return.

Will he make it back into the NFL this season? Stay tuned for the latest.
