Antonio Cromartie On NFL's Marijuana Policy: "They Need To Just Let It Go. We’re Just Going To Do It Anyway"

Marijuana was a big topic of conversation surrounding this year's Super Bowl. The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos are the two NFL teams in states that have legalized marijuana, and Roger Goodell spoke on the issue, saying that the league would not rule out allowing the substance to be used for medicinal purposes.

A number of people have spoken in support of the NFL allowing players to use the substance in place of painkillers and other medication. Today, Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie took another angle as to why the NFL should allow players to smoke in an interview with This is 50's Ashlee Ray:

“They need to just let it go. We’re just going to do it anyway,” Cromartie said. “They just need to let it go. They need to go ahead and say, ‘Ya’ll go ahead, smoke it, do what you need to do.’”
