Baker Mayfield is heading into the all-important Year 2 for a starting quarterback. This is when we start to see if what a QB showed as a rookie was a fluke or the real thing.
Mayfield looked like a future star in his first season in Cleveland. He threw for 3,725 yards and 27 touchdowns despite not taking over the starting job until Week 4.
More importantly, he gave Browns fans hope. Now, that hope is turning into expectations, especially considering the upgrades Cleveland made to its roster in the offseason.
Mayfield showed up at the team’s OTA this week sporting a new look. He shaved off his customary beard.

Mayfield has experimented with his facial hair before, sporting stubble, a full beard and even a goatee for a brief time while at Oklahoma.
Most likely, he’ll have the beard back at some point this offseason.
Cleveland fans could care less what he looks like as long as he plays well.
