Baker Mayfield and his wife, Emily, both had messages for Cleveland Browns fans this week. They were aimed at different topics.

The Browns quarterback wants his fan base to be quiet when they have the ball at home.

“It was just the fact that when we’re on offense, we need it to be quiet,” Mayfield said per Cleveland.com.

“It might’ve ruffled some feathers, once again that’s okay, but when we’re on offense on a critical down, we need to be able to have silence in our home stadium. It’s got to be an advantage for us, and then when they get the ball, it’s got to be really loud. It’s just basic football.”

Mayfield's wife, meanwhile, has an issue with bandwagon Browns fans. She posted the following after Sunday's win.

“Fair weather fans are HILARIOUS to me. Get out of here lol,” Wilkinson wrote on her Instagram Story.

She then clarified her comments:

“LOL didn’t expect to ruffle so many feathers with my ‘fair weather fans’ comment yesterday,” Wilkinson added. “No, I was not directing that at the die-hard, loyal fans who have stuck around for YEARS. I’m talking about the idiots who say HORRIBLE things about my husband and the team when we lose, and are back to obsessing when we win. That is laughable to me.”

Everyone associated with the Browns seems to have done a lot of talking this season. They have not been doing much winning.

Cleveland (3-6) and Pittsburgh (5-4) are set to kick off at 8:20 p.m. E.T. on Thursday.

The game will be on FOX.
