Lamar Jackson Updates Injury Status For Thursday Night's Game
On Monday, Baltimore Ravens fans received a scare when star quarterback Lamar Jackson showed up on the injury report. According to Ravens head coach John Harbaugh, Jackson suffered a hit to his quad during the game against Buffalo.
That hit limited him in practice on Monday.
However, he returned to practice on Tuesday afternoon and was reportedly "moving well." Following practice this afternoon, Jackson met with reporters to update his status for Thursday night's game against the New York Jets.
The MVP front-runner said he's feeling good.
"I feel great. I feel 100-percent. I'm going to be out there playing on Thursday night," Jackson said via Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley.
It's great news for the Ravens, who are looking to lock up the No. 1 seed in the AFC. With an 11-2 record, Baltimore currently sits at No. 1, with the Jets, Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers still left on the schedule.
Jackson is having one of the best seasons for a quarterback in recent memory. He not only leads the Ravens in passing, but is also the team's leading rusher.
The former Louisville star went over 1,000 yards rushing for the season during the game against the Bills on Sunday.
Stay tuned for the latest on Jackson.
