Bears vs. Bucs preview:
The Bears are an interesting case study. After opening the season with three straight losses, Chicago found a wins against the Detroit Lions. Then the Bears lost three straight games again, before finding a win against the Minnesota Vikings. Conventional wisdom would say they are about to lose three straight games. But with Jay Cutler back under center and looking good, perhaps the Bears can change their losing ways.
The Atlanta Falcons avenged their loss to Tampa Bay last weekend. The Bucs continue to struggle to find any consistency this season, after dropping two in a row against the Falcons and Oakland Raiders. With just three wins this season, Tampa Bay sits at third in the NFC South and are in danger of missing out on the playoffs yet again.
The Bears and Bucs have played each other 56 times, with the Bears holding a 38-18 advantage in the regular season.
Bears vs. Bucs prediction:
Which Jay Cutler will show up in this game? The one who frequently shuts down and tosses interceptions, or the one who trounced a very good Minnesota Vikings defense?
The Bears need this one, but Jameis Winston will exploit a very suspect Chicago secondary to the tune of 300 yards and a pair of touchdowns through the air.
