Bears vs. Vikings preview:

The Bears season has been a meaningless black hole for fans, but its been a season-long audition for Matt Barkley, who has recently shown promise as a quarterback. Last weekend versus the Redskins, he threw for 323 yards and two touchdowns, going 24-of-40 through the air. Not bad! Jordan Howard is still a stud and has quietly been one of the best running backs in the league. There's a lot to look forward to with this team on offense next year, but the defense needs a serious retooling.

Where to even begin with the Vikings. With their playoff hopes officially dead, it's time to evaluate what the heck happened. In the end, I think it comes down to: this team just wasn't that good. Weird, but it feels true. They couldn't run the ball, period. Even with Adrian Peterson in, he struggled to find room behind an offensive line that let anyone through. It'll be interesting to see what moves this team makes in the offseason.

Bears vs. Vikings prediction:

The Vikings take this one. They end the season on somewhat of a high note and get a win over a divisional rival at home. They need a consolation win, badly.

Vikings 24, Bears 17
