Bengals vs. Browns preview:
After collapsing (again) in the playoffs last year to the Steelers, the Bengals instead decided to collapse midway through the season this year to save themselves from playoff embarrassment once more. They snapped a three-game losing streak by besting the reeling Eagles last week, and will look to continue their match toward mediocrity with a win over the Browns this week.
For the Browns, this is it. If they can't win this game, they will go 0-16. After the Bengals, they take on the Bills, Chargers and Steelers to finish out the season. None of those are winnable games, except maybe the Chargers, but it's not likely. The Browns are coming off of a bye week, and should be well-prepared for the depleted Bengals, but I'm not sure even 10 years of preparation would make a difference for this team.
The Bengals have won the last four match-ups between these two teams.
Bengals vs. Browns prediction:
The Bengals are pretty bad this year, but the Browns are on a different level. This one is over by halftime, which is great for fans of both teams because they can stop torturing themselves and find a much better way to spend their Sunday afternoon.
