The New England Patriots received some good news over the weekend when the NFL announced it was reinstating wide receiver Josh Gordon.

Bill Belichick has to be pretty excited to have Gordon back in the fold. Of course, he isn't going to show it if he is.

A clip of Belichick speaking with sideline reporter Steve Burton during last night's preseason win over the Tennessee Titans is going viral. It is as typical Belichick as you can get.

When asked if he wants to expound on the statement the team put out about Gordon's reinstatement, Belichick simply said "no."

"That's why we put out the statement," he added.

In 11 games with New England before being suspended, Gordon caught 40 passes for 720 yards and three touchdowns, showing immediate chemistry with Tom Brady as a downfield threat.

The Patriots could use that element in their offense again this fall, particularly with Rob Gronkowski now retired.

Gordon could be in line for a huge season if he can stay on the field.
