New England Patriots' head coach Bill Belichick doesn't say much when speaking to the media, but the Super Bowl-winning head coach had some kind words for one major college football program.

Belichick praised the University of Georgia and its head coach, Kirby Smart, at the Super Bowl's "Opening Night" on Monday evening.

The Patriots' head coach believes that Smart is great at preparing his players for the NFL.

“I think Kirby’s program is excellent to prepare guys for the National Football League," he told reporters on Monday night.

Of course, you can expect Georgia to use that quote as much as possible on the recruiting trail over the next couple of months.

Georgia doesn't need a ton of help on the recruiting trail, of course. The Bulldogs consistently bring in some of the top recruiting classes in the country.

The Bulldogs' 2019 class currently ranks No. 2 in the country by 247Sports. Georgia is off to a big start in 2020, too, as the class ranks No. 11 in the country.

Belichick and the Patriots, meanwhile, are set to kick off at the Super Bowl on Sunday night. The game will begin at 6:30 p.m. E.T. on CBS.
