Browns vs. Ravens preview:
The Browns are 0-9 on the season. Despite what many called a "trap game" against the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland got rocked by a score of 35-10. The Browns are in last place in the NFL, and are in line for the first overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft. In Hue Jackson's first year as the head coach of the Browns, Cleveland has fought hard in most games, but just don't have the talent to compete.
The Ravens had lost four in a row after starting the season 3-0, with their most recent loss coming at the hands of the bumbling Jets. Baltimore found a way to win last weekend against a sluggish Pittsburgh Steelers team that was favored entering the matchup. The win pushed the Ravens to the top of the NFC North, despite having just a 4-4 record. The AFC North could be won this year with a 9-7 mark, which was inconceivable at the beginning of the year.
The Browns and Ravens have played each other 35 times, with the Ravens holding a 26-9 advantage.
Browns vs. Ravens prediction:
AFC North teams tend to struggle against one another, despite what their overall record might be. A win against an AFC North opponent must be earned, and that's just what the Ravens will do Thursday.
Joe Flacco and the Ravens defense will do just enough to counteract a hungry Browns team.
