Cardinals vs. 49ers preview:

The Cardinals enter this game 1-3 with a sputtering offense and a concussed quarterback. According to Rotoworld, head coach Bruce Arians said there's "a chance" Carson Palmer gets the green light for the matchup against the 49ers. It is all dependent on whether he passes the league concussion protocol, though Palmer himself said he woke up "feeling good." This could be a make or break game for a team that has been struggling this season.

The 49ers come into this game with nothing to lose. After defeating the Rams in week one, they've rattled off three straight losses and show no signs of stopping. All the negativity aside though, the 49ers at least have the home crowd. This, with an excellent performance from RB Carlos Hyde, might be enough to steal a win against a Cardinals team missing its starting quarterback.

The 49ers lead the series between the division rivals, 29 wins to 20 for the Cardinals. The Cardinals won both matches last year.

Cardinals vs. 49ers prediction:

Assuming Palmer doesn't play, the Cardinals take this game, but barely. The offense struggles, but RB David Johnson cannot be contained by the 49ers defense and he tallies up two touchdowns and 150 combined yards. The Cardinals keep their heads above water with a divisional win.
