This summer, there will be a new face (and voice) on Colin Cowherd's radio show on ESPN - Jen Lada. Lada, who is leaving Comcast Sports Net in Chicago to take the new gig, will be featured as a regular contributor on the show. There are also rumors that she'll be featured on SportsCenter and a number of other programs on the network. Lada, now 34 years old, announced that she'd be leaving Comcast Sports Net in June, and she's set to start at the Worldwide Leader in August.

At Marquette, she was a cheerleader for the basketball team, majoring in journalism and broadcasting. She switched her major to PR for a short time, before realizing that her true passion was journalism. Still, when she graduated, she claims she had a "horrible" resume tape. How'd She Get Started In The Industry?
Lada got her first post-college gig (an internship) at Preps Plus, a local high school sports show in Milwaukee. After spending an entire school year there, she got a weekend sports anchor job in Rockford, Illinois. After a few years at that position, she landed at FOX 6 in Milwaukee in January of 2006. How Did Lada Wind Up At ESPN?Lada spent seven years at FOX 6 in Milwaukee, covering the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks and more. In 2013, Lada landed at Comcast SportsNet in Chicago as a full-time anchor and reporter, covering the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Blackhawks, the Chicago Bulls, the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago White Sox. What Are Jen Lada's Interests?
Lada is very into fitness. A member of cross country and track teams in high school, she's run marathons and other types of races since becoming an adult. In fact, back in July of 2011, Lada broke her clavicle in a bike crash training for a triathlon. She was sidelined from her usual television duties for almost two months.
