Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has done well when it comes to adapting to new trends and changes within the NFL. After finding success in Philadelphia, he was able to adjust his approach and reach the next level, winning two Super Bowls in Kansas City.

Having a generational talent like Patrick Mahomes at quarterback certainly helps, but Reid's ability to put the right pieces together and come up with the best possible game plan has helped the Chiefs reach the NFL's peak.

Reid has been able to win in Kansas City with all of the rule changes and adjustments in the NFL, but he says one recent rule change worries him when it comes to the future of the sport.

"My thing is, where does it stop, right," Reid asked the NFL Network in relation to the new rule spotting fair catches on kickoffs at the 25-yard line.

"We start taking pieces and we’ll see how this goes. But you don’t want to take too many pieces away, or you’ll be playing flag football."

Kickoffs and special teams are a part of football and football strategy, but they are also one of the plays during which players are most frequently injured.

The NFL hasn't fully committed to phasing the play out of the game altogether, but recent rule changes have definitely altered it.
