Chiefs S Eric Berry Suffers Ruptured Achilles, Out For Season
The five-time Pro Bowler is out for the year.
On Thursday night, Kansas City traveled to New England knocked off the defending champs with an impressive performance.
A major part of that victory can be placed on the shoulders of Eric Berry who shut down Pats tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Last in the game, Berry went down with a lower leg injury.
Head coach Andy Reid announced Berry suffered a ruptured Achilles and will be out for the season.
It's a tough break for Berry who fought his way back from cancer to become the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year two seasons ago.
Berry signed a brand new six-year, $78 million deal in February.
