Chiefs vs. Falcons preview:

The Chiefs got a nice win last Sunday over their division rival Broncos, and will look to continue the momentum by traveling to Atlanta this Sunday and taking down the Falcons, which is easier said than done. Kansas City has won six of its last seven and four straight away games, but this will be the Chiefs toughest test of the season. If they get behind, I'm not sure they have the firepower to catch up.

The Falcons enter the match-up fresh off a 38-19 demolition of the Cardinals. They've won three of their last four, and their drubbing of the Cardinals was arguably their best game of the season. They piled it on a tough Arizona defense will holding the offense to just six points in the second half. We're accustomed to seeing Atlanta in shootouts, but for the first time in a long time the defense actually looked legit.

Chiefs vs. Falcons prediction:

I like the Falcons in this one. The Chiefs defense is superb, but the Falcons offense is better. I think they grab an early lead and don't look back. Alex Smith is not the quarterback you want under center when you're down a couple scores. Unless the Chiefs defense forces multiple takeaways (which is possible!) the Falcons cruise to a nice home win.
