There's Growing Concern For Joe Burrow After Gruesome-Looking Injury

No team was more desperate for a win coming into this Sunday than the Cincinnati Bengals. Despite having a star quarterback in Joe Burrow, they're 0-3 at the moment.

The Bengals are coming off a 38-33 loss to the Washington Commanders. Even though Burrow had a flawless performance, it wasn't enough to get the win. After suffering the loss on Monday night, the Pro Bowl quarterback preached patience to the media.

"We're not happy with where we're at, but by no means is the season over. We're 0-3, it's 14 left to play," Burrow said.

While the Bengals have looked much better this Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, fans are very concerned about Burrow's health.

During the first quarter of the Bengals-Panthers game, Burrow suffered an apparent ankle injury. He hasn't left the game, but he was visibly in pain.

Here's play where Burrow's ankle got stepped on by an offensive lineman:

Burrow has already suffered a torn ACL and a season-ending wrist injury in his NFL career. The last thing the Bengals want is for him to get hurt again.

In the event he has to miss a few snaps, Jake Browning would fill in at quarterback.

Fortunately for Bengals fans, it doesn't look like Burrow will sit out. He seems intent on staying in the game.

We'll continue to monitor this situation.
