The Cleveland Browns kicked off training camp a few weeks ago and there was one major absence. Star wide receiver Josh Gordon took a leave of absence from the team to ensure his physical and mental health entering the season.
Last week, Gordon announced his return to the team. Gordon released a statement early Saturday afternoon announcing his return to the football team.
However, he couldn't jump into the rotation just yet. Gordon still had a few hoops to jump through before he could be cleared for walk throughs.
It appears he jumped through those hoops with no problem. Cleveland announced on Saturday morning that Gordon has been cleared, and will officially return to the team.
Gordon burst onto the scene in his second season out of Baylor. During the 2013 campaign, Gordon caught 87 passes for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns despite not playing a full season.
Since then, off-field issues have kept the star wideout from displaying his skills on the field.
Now, he's back.
