Browns Broadcaster Gives Update On Dez Bryant Situation

Dez Bryant gave a candid interview after he was released by the Cowboys.

Dez Bryant Browns update: the rumored signing doesn't seem to have a lot of traction anymore.

Last week, rumors that the former Dallas Cowboys star could head up to Cleveland started to heat up. General manager John Dorsey went as far as to admit that the team had discussions about adding him.

Bryant had a relatively messy divorce with the Cowboys, which spilled out onto Twitter over the weekend once again.

Statistically, he's had a few down seasons in a row. His last 1,000 yard year was 2014. Bryant only played nine games in 2015, and never fully gelled with young Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott.

Now, after a few days where it looked like it might be close, the Dez Bryant Browns rumors are not as hot as there were a few days ago.

The two sides are still in discussions, and a meeting could come soon. However, not everyone expects it to ultimately be a match.

Browns broadcaster Nathan Zegura was asked about the possibility of the team adding the three-time Pro Bowler. He isn't optimistic about it.

The Browns aren't the only AFC North team that could be in the mix.

Steelers superstar receiver Antonio Brown has publicly pulled for Bryant joining him in Pittsburgh. That would be an interesting landing spot, as the team looks to be in contention once again late in Ben Roethlisberger's career.

For now, though, Bryant remains unsigned, with NFL teams days into training camp.
