The Dallas Cowboys are coming off consecutive 12-win seasons, but Colin Cowherd isn't convinced they can replicate that total in 2023.

In a Wednesday radio interview on 96.7 The Ticket, Dak Prescott said he feels the Cowboys are "building" to something great after earning double-digit wins twice in a row for the first time in his career. However, Cowherd thinks Dallas is merely "pretty good."

He believes the team's 9.5 win total is "exactly what it should be" and would lean toward the under.

"Let's be as clear as we can: If Mike McCarthy is a B-B+ coach and Dak is a B-B+ quarterback, that feels incredibly fair," Cowherd said.

Cowherd claimed that the Cowboys have nine games where Prescott is the matchup's better quarterback. Running down the other eight, the FS1 host notably prefers Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff, and Tua Tagovailoa along with Aaron Rodgers, Justin Herbert, Josh Allen, and Jalen Hurts (twice).

Seemingly forgetting that football is a team sport, Cowherd predicted Dallas will win most of those nine and lose most of the eight, give or take one or two surprising outcomes each way.

Furthermore, he declared the Philadelphia Eagles are "no question" better than their NFC East adversary. Cowherd doesn't see a scenario where Dallas wins three straight road games as a wild-card team to make the Super Bowl.
