Cowboys vs. Eagles preview:
The Cowboys had their bye week this past week, and what would a bye week be without a nice little quarterback controversy? Tony Romo is back on the practice field! Well, back throwing passes at least, but he's back! At least for this match-up the coaching staff has maintained Dak Prescott will be the starter, but next week? Hard to say. Is it really in the team's best interest to change quarterbacks after a 5-1 start?
The Eagles got a huge 21-10 win over the Vikings on Sunday, meaning there are no more unbeaten teams in the NFL. Carson Wentz didn't look so hot throwing for only 138 yards and two interceptions, but the stifling Eagles defense was there to bail him out by pummeling Sam Bradford all game. The Minnesota offense kept turning the ball over and was never able to get into a rhythm, only managing to find the end zone in garbage time. They'll need that type of defensive play against a juggernaut Cowboys offense.
Cowboys vs. Eagles prediction:
The Cowboys take this one. I'm a believer in Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott, and they'll get the job done behind an intimidating offensive line. The Eagles don't have enough firepower to keep up, and the Cowboys roll to 6-1 and make the case that they're the team to beat in the NFC.
