Cowboys vs. Eagles preview:

Dallas is good. The Cowboys own the second-best scoring differential in the NFL, behind the New England Patriots. Rookies Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott continue to shine for the Cowboys who have locked up the No. 1 seed in the NFC and a first round bye. Dallas won't have much to play for in this one, as it has already locked up the No. 1 seed, yet this is still a great opportunity to take down a significant foe in the NFC.

The Eagles have nothing to play for other than to serve as spoiler for Dak Prescott's chances of becoming the first rookie quarterback to win 14 games in his first season. The days of ESPN fawning over Carson Wentz are gone, and the good times that Philadelphia enjoyed early in the season are a distant memory. The Eagles turned it around a little bit last week with a solid win over the Giants, but Philly fans will once again have to find another team to root for in the playoffs.

Cowboys vs. Eagles prediction:

Will the Cowboys rest their starters? That would be the only thing that gives Philadelphia any chance of winning this game.

Zeke and company will roll to win No. 14 and Prescott will get the rookie wins record.

Cowboys 24, Eagles 23
