Micah Parsons Reacts To The Stat About Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift
Each week on his podcast, Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons weighs in on various NFL topics.
Last night, Parsons touched on Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's relationship with Taylor Swift and the effect it might be having on his personal stats.
As CBS showed during Sunday's Chiefs-Chargers game, Kelce has much better numbers with Swift in attendance than he does in games she misses.
Parsons dismissed a direct correlation between the two, but did admit there might be something to Kelce performing better when his girlfriend is around.
"Travis Kelce’s my boy, best tight end in the league for like the past three, four years, so it’s obviously not Taylor Swift," Parsons said. "But I’m gonna tell y’all one thing. When there is a bad girl and she’s in attendance and she’s watching you, that gives you an extra boost of confidence."
It should be noted that the two games Swift has missed included Kelce's first game back from a bruised knee and another contest in which he injured his ankle and missed some time, so there is a logical explanation for the difference in production outside of her not being there.
Nevertheless, the Taylor-lytics are seemingly here to stay as long as Swift and Kelce remain together.
By all accounts, things are going well between the two, so it might be a while.
