Aaron Rodgers had a vintage, MVP-caliber performance during the Green Bay Packers' win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. The 35-year-old quarterback threw for 429 yards and five touchdowns, completing 25 of 31 passes.
The Packers presented Rodgers with the game ball in a joyous scene in the locker room.
This morning, Rodgers' girlfriend, Danica Patrick, shared a heartfelt message for the quarterback.
"While Aaron’s greatness is measured and very very impressive on the field, he should also be known for the great human he is off the field. Every weekend there is a group of amazing people that fly from far and wide to support him, some new friends (many are my old friends) but most he has had for decades. Yesterday was one of those days where there was so much to celebrate beyond just being together. Perfect passer rating. Fastest QB to reach 350 TD in history. Also, a highly ranked game in passing yards and in TDs," she wrote. "Plus the hotness! Lucky girl. Let’s gooooooo!!!!"
Rodgers is a lucky man, too.
Patrick shared on Instagram some victory cupcakes that appeared to get eaten in celebration following the win on Sunday night.
The Packers (6-1) are set to return to the field on Sunday night against the Patrick Mahomes-less Kansas City Chiefs.
