Darrelle Revis has extended an olive branch to Richard Sherman today, one day after the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII. The pair has feuded in the past, not surprisingly, because both view themselves as the best cornerback in the NFL.
While Richard Sherman said before the Super Bowl that their beef was behind them and in the past, Revis was still not very complimentary of him leading up to the big game, mainly because he thinks that Sherman’s famous rant was selfish and clearly not team-centered. Revis also made it clear that he still thinks he’s the best corner in football. But today he did decide to take to Twitter to congratulate Sherman on the big win, and wish him well as he recovers from the ankle injury that he sustained in the Super Bowl:
@RSherman_25 congrats homie you played great. I hope you straight with the injury.

Now they’re pretty much best buds.
