Broncos vs. Titans preview:
The Titans (6-6) enjoyed a bye last week after picking up a 27-21 win in Chicago on Nov. 27. The Broncos (8-4) beat Jacksonville 20-10 last Sunday after they fell to Kansas City the week prior.
Tennessee gave up 411 yards to the Bears two weeks ago, but came away with a win much to the thanks of forcing two turnovers. The Titans did most of their damage on the ground with 149 rushing yards with Derrick Henry leading the way with 60 yards and a score on eight carries. Marcus Mariota threw for 226 yards and two touchdowns as well.
Denver had just 206 yards on the day, but its defense forcing three turnovers was the difference maker in the win over the Jaguars last week. Rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch went 12-for-24 through the air for 104 yards.
The Titans are 21-15-1 all-time in regular season meetings against the Broncos.
Broncos vs. Titans Prediction:
With starting quarterback Trevor Siemian nursing a foot injury, Lynch may get the start at quarterback for the Broncos which plays to the favor of the Titans.
Regardless of who starts at quarterback, the Titans will still have to win by scoring points and that is easier said than done against the Bronco's fifth ranked defense.
With that being said, the Titans have a chance at home to make a statement and set a tone as a favorite to win the AFC South. With the Titans playing well and the game being played in Nashville, the Titans get the job done.
Titans 20, Broncos 17
