Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is off to a rough start to the season. After being carried to a win by the efforts of the team's defense in Week 1, the offensive struggles were too much to overcome in Week 2.

Various miscues and mistakes led to the Browns suffering their first loss of the season, and many fans and analysts blamed Watson for the loss.

Watson's personal quarterbacks coach is firing back on Tuesday with a cryptic message.

After Seahawks safety Quandre Diggs tweeted about people having no idea about game planning or assignments, Watson's quarterbacks coach responded with several exclamation points in agreement.

It's not the first time Quincy Avery has spoken about Watson's career.

In an appearance on The Ryen Russillo Podcast in 2022, Avery took a shot at some of Watson's former teammates in Houston.

"His last year in Houston, when he played, he was carrying like three guys who could have been working at your local Walmart at the receiver position and he went absolutely berserk," Avery said.

"If he gets on a team with any sort of talent around him, somebody’s going to have to really watch out."

Watson has a far better group of receivers than he did in Houston, but his results on the field have been far worse since joining the Browns.
