The 2020 NFL draft is about to kick off and the trade rumors are flying. Teams are doing their best to either move up or down in the draft.

Perhaps the most active team in the weeks leading up to the draft has been the Detroit Lions. They hold the No. 3 pick in the draft, but have been open to trading down, according to multiple reports.

The Lions have been doing their best go gets teams pitted against each other in a play for the No. 3 pick. According to a report from ESPN's Dan Graziano, the Lions have spoken to three teams about a potential trade.

Graziano reported the Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars have all spoke to the Lions. Detroit is expected to pick a defensive player if they don't trade down.

Here's the latest.

Quarterback Joe Burrow and pass rusher Chase Young are expected to be the No. 1 and No. 2 picks off the board.

After that, it's anyone's guess as to what the Lions - or another team - will do with the No. 3 pick.

Detroit needs to make a splash and improve in 2020 or head coach Matt Patricia could be on the outs.

The first round of the 2020 NFL draft kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET.
