Doug Gottlieb Sends Regrettable Tweet About Ray Rice, The Internet Responds

CBS Sports' Doug Gottlieb isn't shy about letting opinions fly, but last night he probably wishes he could've had one back. In response to a Twitter parody account's joke about the video of Ray Rice allegedly dragging his unconscious fiancee out of an Atlantic City hotel, Gottlieb sent a very tasteless tweet of his own.

Gottlieb isn't the most popular sports personality with many fans already, so even after he pulled the tweet and apologized, Twitter went after him.

Looks like Doug Gottlieb is about to learn that it takes years to build a reputation, but only one tweet to ruin it. @GottliebShow

It will be interesting to see what Gottlieb's reaction is the next time a player says something stupid (and probably less offensive than this) on Twitter.
