With just 16 points scored, Super Bowl LIII between the Patriots and Rams was the lowest scoring game in Super Bowl history. During the course of the game, many fans complained that the game, half-time show, and commercials (except for one) were all boring. But one ESPN personality has a message for the fans who have been complaining.
Trey Wingo, the co-host of Golic and Wingo on ESPN, called out the fans who complained while watching the entire game and told them to “Shut the hell up!”
Wingo complained that fans kept on whining about how boring the game was despite being glued to their televisions.
“You people that did that, you’re the worst. You’re the absolute worst.”
“SHUT THE HELL UP!”@wingoz on the fans who complained for 4 hours, but wouldn’t stop watching the Super Bowl.

Wingo certainly has a basis for complaining – it can be frustrating to see people commenting non-stop about a game being boring while simultaneously taking hours out of the day to watch the game.
However, it’s hard to argue that while the game was close and compelling, the action on the field was rather boring.
Not a single player on either team had a play of 30 yards or more. There wasn’t even a touchdown scored until the middle of the fourth quarter, which wound up being the only one scored.
Of course, he could have chosen to simply take his own advice and not read or listen to the complaints…
