As we get closer and closer to free agency, there’s a growing sense that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could land Patriots QB Tom Brady. While there are a number of appealing aspects to Tampa Bay, one ESPN insider found an advantage they have that few others do.
According to ESPN Buccaneers insider Jenna Laine, Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians offers Brady a very different coaching style. Laine pointed to Arians’ fun demeanor and playful attitude as something that he may appreciate.
Of course, Tampa Bay offers a number of other advantages, too. The city itself is in a much warmer climate than Boston and it’s in Florida where there’s no state income tax.
But the team itself could be the most appealing aspect of all. The Buccaneers are saturated with talented wide receivers, running backs and tight ends. A few tweaks to the offensive line and Brady could find himself with the best set of weapons since his record-setting 2007 season.
I've said it before, but the biggest thing Bruce Arians and the Bucs have going in their favor with Tom Brady is change of scenery and coaching style. Arians isn't Bill Belichick. He greets everyone with "Hey babe," and wants to have beers in the parking lot after games.

But the Patriots aren’t out of the race to re-sign Brady, even if rumors are that a deal isn’t close.
Then there’s the matter of the Los Angeles Chargers reportedly being interested too.
A lot can happen over the next few days before free agency opens.
Tom Brady’s decision to alter the balance of power in the entire National Football League.
