The Philadelphia Eagles are one half away from knocking out another favorite in the NFC and reaching the NFC Championship Game. They lead the New Orleans Saints 14-10 at intermission.
Philadelphia jumped out to a 14-0 lead on a touchdown pass from Nick Foles to Jordan Matthews and a one-yard run from Foles himself. New Orleans was on the ropes early, but responded.
A long touchdown drive was capped off by Drew Brees hitting Keith Kirkwood in the end zone on fourth-and-goal. Then, Brees took his team into field goal range on the final drive of the half, which ended with Will Lutz hitting a 45-yard field goal.
ESPN has released its prediction for the second half. It favors the Saints, barely.
New Orleans has a 50.6 percent chance to win, per the ESPN win probability.
The second half of Eagles-Saints is coming up momentarily from the Superdome.
