The Pittsburgh Steelers remain without star running back Le'Veon Bell, who has yet to sign his franchise tender. To add insult to injury, the team also tied the Cleveland Browns in their season-opener.

Now the team is dealing with an injury to star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Big Ben took a significant beating against the Browns and is reportedly dealing with an elbow injury before the Steelers' matchup against Kansas City.

Roethlisberger did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday. That left 2017 fourth-round pick Josh Dobbs taking first-team reps for the majority of practice.

ESPN's Adam Schefter revealed a major injury update for Big Ben and the Steelers. The former Miami of Ohio star practiced in full on Friday.

The 15-year NFL veteran doesn't need practice snaps at this point in his career. However, it's a good sign that Roethlisberger was a full participant in practice just two days before the AFC clash against the Chiefs.

Sunday game kicks off from Pittsburgh at 1:00 p.m. ET.
