For the eighth year in a row, the New England Patriots are in the AFC Championship Game. Their opponent, the Kansas City Chiefs are making their first appearance in the conference title game in 25 years.

The Chiefs haven't made the Super Bowl in almost 50 years, way back when they were in the AFL. Can they snap this streak against the most dominant NFL franchise of the last two decades?

New England won the regular season matchup between these two teams, but that game was in Foxboro. If you want to have a shot to beat the Patriots in the playoffs, you need to get them away from home, where they have lost their last three AFC Championship Games on the road.

Kansas City has that part in its favor, as today's game will be played at a raucous Arrowhead Stadium. However, New England is the dragon that needs to be slayed in the AFC.

ESPN has put out its final prediction for the game, using its FPI formula.

The Chiefs are rather heavy favorites, according to the computer.
