The New Orleans Saints and the Los Angeles Rams are one quarter into their NFC Championship Game at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The game is being televised on FOX, with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call.

One aspect of the broadcast is annoying the crap out of everyone watching it, though it's not the announcers.

It's one fan.

Someone in the crowd at the Superdome is blowing a whistle, basically non-stop, and it's incredibly audible for those watching the broadcast.

It's not good.

"Someone has to go get that whistle out of the crowd. It’s driving me nuts," one fan tweeted.

"I'm all for crowd noise, but whoever's blowing that annoying whistle should be drawn and quartered," another added.

"The New Orleans whistle is the NFL’s version of the vuvuzela," Andrew Marchand tweeted.

According to some Saints fans, though, the guy in the crowd who's whistling might not be using an actual whistle. "The whistle you keep hearing on the broadcast is this guy. Per his website he claims the whistle on his head is functional and can reach 123 Decibels. Yet he's allowed in the crowd for some reason."

If true, that's impressive, but that's not going to make anyone watching the Saints-Rams game less annoyed.

It's currently Saints 13, Rams 0.

The game is on FOX.
