Everyone's Wondering Why Malcolm Butler Isn't Playing

Butler has remained sidelined.

The Super Bowl kicked off little more than an hour ago. Since then, it's been all Eagles.

Philadelphia owns a 15-6 lead midway through the second quarter. New England has struggled to move the ball offensively, and the Eagles have looked solid on the offensive side of the ball too.

With the Eagles ability to move the ball, an interesting point has been brought up. Malcolm Butler still hasn't played a defensive snap.

You remember Malcolm Butler, right? He's the one that clinched up the Patriots Super Bowl victory over the Seattle Seahawks with a goal line interception.

Well, he hasn't played yet tonight. And fans are going nuts.

Now, it's important to note that the Eagles wide receivers are tall, and Butler is a shorter corner. The Pats went with Eric Rowe instead.

Bill Belichick reportedly made the decision. Perhaps there's something we're missing.

Rowe has been torched so far by Alshon Jeffrey, who has three catches for 71 yards and a touchdown.
