The Dallas Cowboys are officially announcing Ezekiel Elliott’s contract extension at a press conference this afternoon. Elliott has agreed to a six-year, $90 million extension in Dallas following a lengthy holdout.
The holdout was filled with some drama, highlighted by Jerry Jones’ “Zeke who?” joke following a Cowboys preseason game.
Elliott and his camp reportedly felt disrespected by the comment. Jones was firm in saying he had earned the right to joke with his star running back.
Everything is good now, though.
It’s so good that Elliott and Jones are making jokes about it at the press conference, unveiling the following T-shirt with big smiles:

Of course the Cowboys had a T-shirt made to joke about this.
Dallas, meanwhile, is days away from opening its 2019 regular season. The Cowboys start the year against the New York Giants on Sunday.
Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. E.T. on FOX.
