Ezekiel Elliott did something no rookie has ever done in the history of the NFL.

It's been three months since Tom Brady led an improbable comeback against the Atlanta Falcons. Since the season ended, we've been left with the NFL Draft for our taste of football. Now that the draft is over, we need something else to hold us over until the 2017 season starts.

Well, the NFLPA released its Top 50 Player Sales List this morning. The list includes all NFL player-identified merchandise and products sold. Former Ohio State star and NFL standout Ezekiel Elliott accomplished something no rookie has in the history of the NFL -- he led all merchandise sales.

Here's what Elliott had to say about the news:

“It’s pretty humbling,” Elliott said. “When you’re a rookie, you’re just looking to put your head down, help the team, and learn the ropes. To accomplish this level of success off the field shows just how passionate football fans are in Dallas, Ohio, my home state of Missouri and all around the world. And to be up there with Dak and Dez, alongside great players like Tom Brady and Odell Beckham, is very special to me.”

Here is video of Elliott reacting to the honor.

Fellow rookie, and Dallas Cowboys teammate, Dak Prescott finished No. 2 on the list, knocking Tom Brady from the No. 1 overall spot.
