Visiting the White House as part of a championship team has become a controversial topic since Donald Trump took over as President of the United States. There are those who avoid attending such a visit due to Trump's policies and behavior and those that attend regardless.

Count Derrius Guice among those that would attend should his team win a championship.

The Washington Redskins rookie was asked by TMZ Sports if he'd visit the White House given the opportunity.

He would. "If I get the chance, yeah. That's the chance of a lifetime," Guice said ... "They got a lot of history in that White House."

Guice was asked if he would want Donald Trump at one of his game to which he responded "yeah sure if he wants to come."

He went on to say:

"I mean he's running this country. Whatchu want me to do, hate a guy who's running this country? I stay in my lane, he stay in his."

First the Redskins have to make it to the playoffs, which have eluded the team since 2015. With Alex Smith at the helm and Derrius Guice in the backfield, Washington fans should have more to cheer for this season.
