When will we see Gruden in the NFL again?

Last week, rumors circulated that Jon Gruden was gearing up for an NFL coaching comeback.

Today, however, Gruden threw some water on the coaching rumor embers.

In an interview with Lindsay Jones of USA Today, Gruden said that he doesn't foresee himself coaching anytime soon.

Gruden has been out of the coaching game since 2009, when he was fired by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Although Gruden says he won't coach "anytime soon" he'll still be linked to every NFL head coaching vacancy that comes available.

Currently, he has a cushy job as an NFL analyst for ESPN, where he reportedly makes over $6 million per year.
