Four Players Were Left In The Green Room After Round 1

Roger Goodell at the NFL Draft.

The first round of the 2018 NFL draft is over. It ended with a bang after the Baltimore Ravens traded with the Philadelphia Eagles and drafted former Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson.

But not every story ended with a smile on Thursday night.

Four players who attended the NFL draft were left in the green room after not getting selected in the first round. 22 players were invited to the draft and four remained at the end of the night.

Here are the four.

  • Connor Williams, OT, Texas
  • Shaquem Griffin, LB, Central Florida
  • Derrius Guice, RB, LSU
  • Josh Jackson, CB, Iowa

The 2018 draft has been full of trades, and we're only done with the first round. These four players will have to wait until Friday night to hear their names called, however.

Expect three of the four to hear their names early on in the second round, while Shaquem Griffin might have to wait a little while longer to hear his.

It's definitely not the way these four players wanted to end their day.
