Due to all the drama surrounding Antonio Brown and the Oakland Raiders, tonight’s episode of HBO’s Hard Knocks might be the most anticipated in the show’s history.
Brown has been the topic of conversation in the NFL for the past week because of his issue with the league’s helmet policy. However, the All-Pro wideout does seem ready to finally return to the team.
In addition to all the behind-the-scenes drama involving Brown, the Raiders also found themselves in a fight with the Los Angeles Rams during training camp.
The Raiders and Rams held joint practice last week before their preseason matchup on Saturday.
With the upcoming episode of Hard Knocks almost out, HBO released a preview of the second episode.
It didn’t tease any of the drama that might take place, but it did show an awesome reunion between Jon Gruden and Sean McVay.
Check it out:
McVay started his NFL career as a wide receivers coach for the Buccaneers. Gruden was the head coach during that time and saw how the young offensive-minded coach was poised for success.
Following his brief stint in Tampa Bay, McVay went over to Washington to help improve the Redskins’ offense. In 2017, the Rams made him their head coach and also the youngest coach since the start of the modern era.
Watching Gruden and McVay share a few moments on the field together should be entertaining on Hard Knocks.
