These are the best remaining prospects as we head into Day 2 of the draft.
The first round of the 2017 NFL Draft concluded Thursday night, but there are still plenty of names remaining for rounds two and three tonight. After three quarterbacks were taken in the first round, Notre Dame's DeShone Kizer was the lone quarterback left in the green room at the end of the night -- which means he attended the draft, but wasn't drafted in the first round.
Two running backs were also taken in the first round -- Leonard Fournette and Christian McCaffrey. That leaves former Florida State standout Dalvin Cook still on the board, along with the controversial former Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon.
With that being said, here are the best prospects left after the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
- RB Dalvin Cook
- RB Joe Mixon
- WR Zay Jones
- QB DeShone Kizer
- CB Quincy Wilson
- G Forrest Lamp
- RB Alvin Kamara
- S Budda Baker
- CB Sidney Jones
- OT Cam Robinson
Those are just some of the names projected to go early in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. There is plenty to look forward two as round two and three get underway tonight on ESPN at 7:00 p.m. E.T.
