The NFL has been one of the only sports organizations in the world still making headlines as free agency continues to roll on.
After free agency kicked off last week, a few of the biggest names in the NFL have changed teams. Tom Brady, Todd Gurley and DeAndre Hopkins are just some of the players who will step onto the field in 2020 with new organizations.
Brady signed a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that pays him $50 million – with an additional $9 million in incentives. His is just one of many major contracts signed in the past 10 days.
Teams around the league haven’t been shy in spending money. Following a flurry of activity, Turbo Tax – via Bleacher Report – revealed just how much money has been spent in free agency so far.
NFL teams spent over $2.2 billion in free agency.
