A former first round pick was carted off the field on Thursday night. The New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles faced off for a rematch of Super Bowl LII, which Philly won 41-33.

During the first quarter of the rematch, former Georgia standout Isaiah Wynn suffered a leg injury. Wynn left the field without his shoe on as the trainers looked at his left leg.

Wynn suffered the injury then limped to the injury tent before getting carted off the field.

Patriots beat writer Henry McKenna reported that Wynn is dealing with an ankle injury. His return to the game is questionable.

New England selected Wynn with the No. 23 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft. The former Bulldog was named First Team All-SEC and was named a Second Team All-American.

Wynn entered the game for New England second series and went up against NFL veteran Chris Long before suffering the injury.

We'll update his condition when it becomes known.
