Jaguars vs. Bears preview:

The Bears dropped their first three games of the season before grabbing a win at home against the Lions in Week 4. Chicago then dropped a close game against Andrew Luck and the Colts and sit at 1-4 on the season. Brian Hoyer has done well taking over for injured quarterback Jay Cutler, and he will continue to see starts until his play suffers. Hoyer threw for nearly 400 yards against the Colts last weekend and does not have an interception on the season despite his 140 pass attempts.

Jacksonville finally got itself into the win column with a 30-27 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 4. The Jaguars celebrated that victory with a Week 5 bye, providing the team extra time to get ready for the Bears. Jacksonville's run game has suffered this season and they are averaging just 75.3 yards per game on 3.5 yards per carry.

Jaguars and Bears have played six times in history, with the Bears holding a 4-2 advantage.

Jaguars vs. Bears prediction:

The Bears offense is rolling. Brian Hoyer has been steady behind center and rookie running back Jordan Howard has been a beast since taking over the starting role for an injured Jeremy Langford. Howard is averaging 5.8 ypc and should be in for a solid game against a weak Jacksonville run defense.
